The plot twist in the story of "The Lottery" urge us to thnk about our society that some times we dont act towerds something until it is affecting our lives. What I mean by this is that when something is happening in our society that does not affect us we dont care but when start to affect us is when we realize that there is a problem. An example of this would be the terrorist attack. Before 9/11 there had been terrorist attack before in other parts of the wolrd, but it wasent until it happen to us that we look at it more carefully.
